Welcome!

5:00 to 7:00 PM - Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park, North End, San Jose, California

Welcome to the website blog for the San Jose, California April 15 Tea Party. We invite everyone who believes that our current administration's plans to tax and spend trillions of dollars to save failing banks, pay off other people's mortgages, build dog parks, cause epic inflation, and generally leave our children and grandchildren holding a crushing debt to join us on April 15, 2009 at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park (where they have Christmas in the Park) at 5:00 PM

Note: This was originally scheduled for the Federal Building on 1st St. There's no room there, so we've moved it to the Cesar Chavez Park.

Please send email to sjteaparty@yahoo.com for more information, or watch this blog for updates, schedules, etc.

Everyone is encouraged to bring creative signs to the protest - post your ideas here! However, profane, vulgar, violent, rude, or off-topic signs are not welcome. This is a family event so we ask you to keep it clean.

  1. Great new location, and the time change is terrific... more people will be able to get off work a little early rather than taking the day off. Great choices.

  4. This Is great! Nothing is more frustrating than trying to effect change in this country... If you tell your elected officials your opinion (such as... they work for YOU!) they dont care.... If you purport change vocally in the streets, the OBAMA Worshippers shout you down, This tea party is not about republicans or democrats... its about ensuring our "ELECTED" officials follow the letter of the law laid down in our constitution! We are losing our "REPUBLIC" and the time is now for it to STOP!!! Tell your neighbors, tell your friends, scream it from the rooftops. Its time for "WE THE PEOPLE" to return... You can be sure I'll be there!! Will YOU?
